Ever since I was a little girl, my most content moments in life have been spent creating art. I remember laying on my bedroom floor for hours making jewelry for friends, filling my sketchbook with charcoal drawings and painting anything that wouldn’t get me in trouble.

As I’ve gotten older, my projects have changed. Now I'm addicted to Pinterest projects and make crafts with my kids out of egg cartons and popsicle sticks.

But no matter what it is, I still get the same satisfaction every time I can find a few moments to make something beautiful.

It is with that same love and passion that I approach photography. A mentor once said, “It’s not what you see, it’s how you see it.”

To me, photography is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. It’s about capturing a fleeting moment for a family to cherish for a lifetime. It’s about seeing the beauty in the everyday.

You are not a number to me. You are the only reason I get to do this incredible job that I love. I feel so blessed to be able to share my passion with others and hope I get the opportunity to capture the special moments in your life.
